Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Phase website, launcher, downloadable client software, accounts, license keys, and related services (collectively, "Phase"). By creating an account, purchasing access, redeeming a key, downloading the launcher, or using Phase, you agree to these Terms.

1. Phase accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity performed through your account. You must provide accurate information when creating or using an account. Phase access, purchases, entitlements, and license keys may be tied to your account and, where applicable, to a device.

2. Editions and access periods

Phase Free may be available without payment. Paid Phase and Phase Plus access is sold for the duration shown at checkout. Unless a product is explicitly described as recurring, purchases are one-time payments and do not automatically renew. Timed access begins when the corresponding entitlement is activated or otherwise granted as described at checkout.

3. License and restrictions

Subject to these Terms and any active entitlement, Phase grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the software. You may not sell, sublicense, redistribute, publicly mirror, or commercially exploit Phase binaries, keys, accounts, authentication material, or private builds without written permission. You may not attempt to bypass access controls, payment checks, account restrictions, or license enforcement.

4. Third-party games, servers, and services

Phase is independent software and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft and related marks belong to their respective owners. Third-party games, servers, platforms, or communities may have their own rules. You are responsible for understanding and following those rules and for any consequences arising from your use of Phase with third-party services.

5. Purchases and payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment processor identified at checkout. Phase does not directly store full payment-card numbers. Prices, durations, taxes, and any applicable fees are shown during checkout. Access is granted only after the payment processor confirms successful payment.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. A refund, reversal, or successfully disputed payment may result in the corresponding entitlement being revoked or recalculated.

7. Updates and availability

Phase may update, replace, suspend, or discontinue software builds, features, servers, authentication systems, or supported game versions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, compatibility with every device, server, game update, or third-party modification.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use Phase to violate applicable law, distribute malware, interfere with Phase infrastructure, attack other users, abuse authentication or payment systems, scrape private account data, or access another person's account without authorization.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material violations of these Terms, fraud, payment abuse, unauthorized redistribution, attempted circumvention of access controls, or activity that threatens Phase systems or users. Where practical, we may provide notice, but urgent security or fraud-related action may occur immediately.

10. Disclaimer

Phase is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not promise that Phase will be error-free, continuously available, or compatible with every game update, device, or third-party server.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Phase and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Phase. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date and, when appropriate, additional notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
